Our mission is to forge discussion on relevant Human-Computer Interaction issues within our professional online community. We hope to offer a forum for expressing new ideas within the context of an interactive, responsive environment.

CHIplace is the online community site for Human-Computer Interaction. All HCI topics are relevant, and all perspectives from our multi-disciplinary field are welcome.

CHIplace serves several different functions:

  • Come to CHIplace to discuss conferences (like the annual CHI conference) and hot topics in the field.
  • Read interviews and panel discussions with leading experts to hear about the latest ideas in the field -- then join in and share your opinion.
  • Get together with other HCI folks who share your interests, both online and face-to-face.
  • Learn about ways you can volunteer to serve the CHI community.

CHIplace is always open to new ideas (including content or features). If you have any ideas, please contact us.
